Who founded Heart Psychologist?  And why?

Dr. Kim Feingold is a leading cardiac psychologist with more than two decades of experience at top heart hospitals. She helps patients navigate their cardiac journey by attending to the emotions, challenges, changes, and stressors that so commonly occur.

 

She is currently the founder and director of Cardiac Behavioral Medicine at Northwestern Medicine Bluhm Heart Hospital and she serves on the faculty of Northwestern University. She is a clinician, educator, speaker, consultant, researcher, and media expert. With too few cardiac psychologists in this country, Dr. Feingold is passionate about bringing her experience, wisdom, and skills to cardiac patients, loved ones, and providers everywhere. 

 

Cardiac problems can be scary. Dr. Feingold also knows they can be life changing in all the best ways, even if that's hard to believe right now. She's supported thousands of patients on their path to better health. Sure, you can do this alone.  But why would you want to?
